Clonny's is available for many different types of functions and we can accommodate most requirements.

Functions last from 4 to 5 hours, depending on starting time.
(Functions must finish by 11:00 pm.)
RESTAURANT CAPACITY

We have a seating capacity or up to 92 guests inside depending upon the configuration of the tables. Approximately 120 guests can be seated utilizing both indoor and outdoor areas. The maximum capacity for cocktail functions is flexible.

Our restaurant features large windows and floor-to-ceiling French doors, allowing uninterrupted views of the surrounding parkland and the harbour beyond.

During inclement weather our ceiling-to-floor transparent drop blinds protect the guests for the wind and the rain.
EXCLUSIVE USE OF CLONNY'S

Exclusive use of Clonny's for your special event is subject to a minimum charge, which depends on a number of factors.

Sole use Monday to Friday starts at $4,000.00 which includes 3 courses for up to 50 people, then $80 per person thereafter. Includes bread, tea and coffee.

Sole use Saturday an Sunday starts at $6,500.00 which includes 3 courses for up to 80 people, then $80 per person thereafter. Includes bread, tea and coffee.

Cocktail Party functions are available at a cost of $60.00 per head subject to the minimum charge. A selection of 5 hot and 5 cold items from our Cocktail Party Menu can be selected and each guest will receive 2 of each item selected give each guest 20 pieces. Our Cocktail Party menu is such that it can be used instead of the Function Menu and each guest will receive ample quantity for a lunch or a dinner.

Breakfast Functions are available at a usual cost of $35.00-$45.00 for adults and $17.50-$20.00 for children. Breakfast functions usually have to be conducted between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Times and costs are negotiable so please don't hesitate to contact us so we can arrange the Breakfast function to suit your needs.
MENUS/PRICES
Copies of the Function Menus are able to be veiwed in the Menus.
BAR AND BEVERAGE SERVICE

A charge of $150.00 applies for the set-up of the bar and $50.00 per hour for the staffing. This equates to $350.00 for the bar set-up for the whole function and replaces the corkage charge, which is $3.50 per head.

As Clonny's is a B.Y.O. restaurant only, we supply all non-alcoholic drinks. Leftover alcohol must be taken at the conclusion of the function as by 10:00 am the next morning.
MENU TASTING

Clonny's On The Beach offers a free Tasting for the Bride and Groom to sample the quality of food.

The Tasting are complimentary of Clonny's On The Beach and are conducted on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 and 4:00 Cocktail/Canapes functions sample taste 3 courses of the A La Carte Menu as small amounts of canapes are difficult to prepare satisfactorily. Menu selections are required 1 month prior to the function.
WEDDING CEREMONIES IN CLONTARF RESERVE

If you wish to be married in Clontarf Reserve either in the park or on the beach you will need a permit from Manly Council. Please contact Manly Council on 9976 1500 for further information.

Please note that if you elect to be married in Clontarf Reserve the restaurant will not be available for access by your guests until 15 minutes prior to the commencement time of your function.
General Information

Like all organisations we have to have some rules and regulations, and we would like to draw your attention to the following:
BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

You selected date will only be held once a deposit has been received.

If you choose to cancel the date within the first week, you will receive your deposit back less a $50.00 administration fee.

If you choose to cancel with more than 90 days notice, you will receive 50% of our deposit.

If you choose to cancel with less than 90 days notice, there will be no refund of the deposit.
PAYMENT

Final payment for all functions must be made at least 2 weeks before the function by way of Cash, Credit Card (we accept American Express, Bankcard, Master Card, Visa and EFTPOS). Payments by cheque required 4 weeks prior to the due date.
American Express card charge - 3.0%.
SURCHARGES AND EXTENSIONS OF TIME

A 20% surcharge applies to functions held on Public Holidays.

Function organisers are asked to commence their function at the scheduled time and ask all guests to vacate the premises at the agreed closing time. If you wish to extend your function beyond the allocated time there is an additional cost of $450.00 per hour or part thereof.
SECURITY DEPOSIT

Is to cover the cost of all non alcoholic drinks consumed and is payable on consumption.
TIPS FOR STAFF

Tips for staff are not included and are at your discretion. Tips are greatly appreciated by our staff and should only be given if you feel that the service has been to your satisfaction.
PRICE VARIATIONS

We will endeavour to maintain prices as detailed herein, but price variations may unfortunately occur due to increased costs, therefore prices are subject to change at our discretion. All prices are inclusive of GST.
MENU VARIATIONS

As we rely on fresh produce for all our dishes, our menus may be subject to seasonal change.
SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS

Any special dietary needs your guests may have, must be confirmed a minimum of a 7 days prior to your function.
FINAL NUMBERS AND SEATING PLAN

Final numbers are required 14 days prior to the date of your function. This will be the number of guests you will be charged for. A small increase in guests can be accommodated and you will be charged for these additions.

We also recommend that your have an alphabetical list of your guests and their table number next to their names for posting at the front door. This will enable your guests to pre-determine where they will be seated.
NO SMOKING

Inside Clonny's On The Beach is designated as a non-smoking area.
AVAILABILITY OF THE RESTAURANT FOR DECORATING ETC.

If you need access to Clonny's On The Beach prior to the allotted time for your function for arranging flowers, decorating etc. please make arrangements with the management. We will attempt to accommodate your requests.
LINEN AND TABLE SIZES

We supply white linen tablecloths and napkins. Our tables are flexible in their seating configuration. We will work with you to prepare a suitable restaurant plan in accordance with the number of guests you have invited.
CANDLES

If you are using candles please ensure that they are placed in suitable containers to avoid dripping. The cost of any damage caused by candle wax will be deducted from your security deposit
SPEECHES SCHEDULE (or any other service interruption).

To ensure your function runs to schedule it is important to provide us with a program. We strongly recommend you have speeches after the main meal has being served, so if the speeches run overtime the food will not be affected.
MUSIC

Our lease contains specific requirements with regard to music.

A five disc carousel CD player is available for ambient music. You may provide your favourite CDs that we will play for you. Or if mp3 player (i.e.: IPOD) is used a RCA cable is required.

To reduce the impact on local residents, amplified music and announcements need to be kept to a reasonable level and must cease by 10.30pm. Volume of all music is at the discretion of the manager.
DANCING

Part of the verandah may be used as a dance floor. Or a dance floor can be hired for the occasion.
CONFETTI

We request that guests do not throw confetti in the restaurant or in the reserve.
GIFTS

All care but no responsibility can be taken for the safety of any gifts on our premises. We will set up a table for you so your guests who arrive with gifts can leave them. All gifts must be taken at the functions end.
GOODS LEFT BEHIND AFTER YOUR FUNCTION

As we have a very limited storage space, any alcoholic beverages or other special needs for your function must be removed from the premises at the end of your function. We do not take any responsibility for items that are left behind after you have vacated the restaurant.c
DAMAGE

Accidents unfortunately can happen, and when they do, any additional cleaning, breakage or damage must be paid for.
